Day 47: Heading Back West

After an incredible six nights in and around Acadia National Park, we packed up to start our drive back west.

Today was a long driving day, but it went pretty smoothly. We had a little excitement when Kelly and the boys walked to CVS to pick up Rob’s Amazon order and three cops pulled up just before us with lights on. We gave them a little space, and when they walked out with someone, we went in.

Nicholas has discovered the vacuum we brought along and he can’t get enough of it. He is even using it as a blower outdoors.

We are spending two nights at Franconia Notch State Park, near the White Mountains on beautiful Echo lake in New Hampshire.
