Day 68: Moving through Montana
We are still traveling west and have moved on from our time in South Dakota to Montana. At one point we saw exit 503 on I-90 in Montana, so we know we are going to be here a while. Before hitting the road the boys and Kelly took a stroll around the campsite to get a little movement before sitting for so long. Once we did got going, we quickly had a surprise when a person flagged us down to say we needed to pull over because his house was heading up the road. He wasn’t kidding.

The drive started off winding through the Black Hills, but most of the time was on I-90. We made a stop in Sterling, Montana for some groceries and lunch at Jersey Mike’s (a long overdue meal request of Nicholas’ on this trip).

We stopped at a Camping World to empty the tanks and for the boys to take “Dump Station showers”, but it looks like the angle was too steep, so we didn’t get all the gray water out that we were supposed to. This will likely mean another dump station stop before we are home.
Tonight we are staying in a Walmart parking lot in Billings, Montana. The amount of people and noise is very different than what we had in the Wind Cave National Park, but it’s only for one night.
