Day 24: Te Anau to Queenstown: End of the Line

We fly out to Auckland tomorrow, so we wanted to enjoy a day and night in Queenstown before leaving the South Island. This is the first time we have retraced our drive route, and the two hours back to Queenstown went quickly.

Bluey cheese cracker snacks were a hit (does not taste like Bluey)

Once in town we ate lunch by the lake and explored downtown.

Boys had McDonalds, I had local Thai food

We wrapped up downtown with a stop at Balls and Bangles for a donut treat

Squeezing out the syringe of Nutella because he needed more chocolate
This one had the word glitter in the name so he had to get it

After a dinner of our remaining random snacks, we walked back to town to explore the Queenstown Gardens.

We are all packed up, and I have finally caught up on all the blog posts. What a great way to end our time on the South Island.
