Day 32: Lunch Dates and Pool Time
The Baers were up early to pack up for their back to Colorado. We ended their visit like we do with all of our trips to Jackson, with a family picture on the deck.
Pop-Pop, the boys, and I walked George partway up the hill this morning. Rob was able to get out for a run before getting his work day started. Today he took most of his calls from the RV.
Later Cooper headed out for a lunch date with Nana, while Nicholas and I had some time together at the house. Cooper and Nana enjoyed a delicious burger picnic.
Nicholas and I had a PB&J lunch, played War, and filled their new Moose pool to see if we could attract another moose. Unfortunately/luckily we happened to set up the pool right next to where an apparent septic leak was happening, so Rob’s dad was able to start calling plumbers right away.
Today’s big activity was going to the local rec center pool, which has the coolest water slide. Nicholas asked me to go with him the first couple of times, but soon was going by himself, lying down to get max speed. The boys went on it 50+ times, so they should sleep very well tonight after climbing all those stairs each time.
