Day 59: A Windy Bridge

The weather is continuing to be super windy with some storms pushing through, too. We wanted to get a jump start on the day to take advantage of some non-rainy family time before work and school.

There is an old train bridge that was converted to a freeway on top of the tracks. The road closed in the early ’70s, but you can walk partly up the road to get a great view of the area.

We came back for some school and reading time.

For the afternoon break we wandered out for some more beach time. Nicholas wanted to dig and play in the water while Cooper wanted to bike ride.

The latest obsession is opening the campground gates. If you line up just right it will lift for your bike on the way out. They both love doing that and punching in the code to get back in.
