Day 71: Home Sweet Home
That’s a wrap on our 10 week summer 2025 adventure. We departed our last campsite, and a few hours later, we were back in front of the house.

We are excited to be home, but will miss all of the adventures and memories made on the road.
Stats for the trip:
- 23 states and 2 countries.
- 7,548 Miles in the RV and 2,704 in the car
- 71 days in 34 different overnight locations
- Zero sick days, not even a sniffle for anyone
- ~10 National Parks/Monuments/Lakeshores
- 5,000+ Pictures Taken
- 900 Gallons of gas, costing $2,584 and averaging 7.9mpg. $3.30 per gallon was the most we paid (in Pennsylvania) and $2.40 was the least (in Michigan)
- $436 in tolls (!)

This is the third RV roadtrip our family has taken together, all triggered by the flexibility that remote school/work during COVID provided in 2020. The other two:
- Fall 2020 across the middle and south of the U.S. – 97 days and 9,677 miles
- Summer 2021 to Utah/Wyoming and back – 44 days and 3,368 miles
