Day 55: Baseball with a Side of Rain

Today’s schedule had games 2 and 3 for Cooper’s team. The first game made it four innings before the rain, thunder, and lightening had other plans. Nicholas and Kelly hung out in the parking lot for a bit to watch the storm, but then headed back to the RV when we learned of a 2-hour delay. We had heard stories from previous years of kids playing into the wee hours of the morning due to weather, so we were happy to only experience a 2-hour delay.

Rob worked during the day, but with the rain delay was able to join us for the second game

The Dragon’s team looked really great again today, walking away with two more wins.

Cooper scored a prized “Commander Pete” pin today from one of the cart drivers. They only give one pin per team, and only a few of the drivers have them, so this was quite exciting.
