Day 28: Another Fame Hall
Drove from Cuyahoga to near Pittsburgh. Nicholas started us off great by completely connecting the tow car all on his own.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame was our first stop, deliberately timed to let Rob take some meetings while the rest of us explored. We saw the Lombardi Trophy and the room full of 350+ busts representing each Hall of Famer.

Seeing the Super Bowl rings from each year really put into perspective just how big and ridiculous they have been getting over the years. The Super Bowl I ring had one diamond, and the most recent one had 600+.

We took a slight detour and make a quick two-minute stop in order to mark off another state: West Virginia. Fortunately, we had good reason to stop: there was the “world’s largest teapot” in this very corner of the state, so we had the perfect photo op to mark the occasion.

The roads to Canton had been smooth and easy, but the next leg was more of the “narrow-rollercoaster-farm-roads” type, which is a bit challenging in an RV. However, it did include a close view of a nuclear power plant and the 386-acre Shell Pennsylvania Petrochemicals Complex plastic pellet making site. All of this excitement pales in comparison to the true highlight of this day: the truck A/C appears to be working again!

Soon after we arrived at the beautiful Mountain Top RV Campground, just outside Pittsburgh. We played some catch and frisbee golf while Rob finished up his work day, and then together we enjoyed s’mores by a campfire while being surrounded by fireflies.
