Day 19: Upper to Lower Peninsula

Rob went for a run and the rest of us did a little wandering in the campground before heading out to our next stop, Traverse City, a leisurely drive at less than three hours. The drive started off crossing the Mackinac Bridge, officially ending our time on the Upper Peninsula.

On the way, we stopped for lunch at Petoskey Beach to look for Petoskey Stones, super cool fossilized coral rocks that are 350 million years old, but we didn’t have any luck.

The evening wrapped up with some time at the campground pool.
